About Sharp County, AR
Sharp County is located in the northeast corner of Arkansas and is home to over 17,000 residents. The county was established in 1868 and its county seat is Hardy. It is home to the Ozark National Forest, many state parks, rivers, and numerous outdoor activities. Agriculture has been an important sector of the local economy since its founding with today's top crops being soybeans, wheat, hay, sorghum and corn.
