Boundary County lies within Northern Idaho bordering both Montana and Canada on either side. It was first established back in 1915 upon pushing out native tribes from their ancestral homeland; however it was not until 1921 that it was truly formalized with locals once again claiming it their own when they voted unanimously during their first county election after gaining statehood that same year.
