Winneshiek County, Iowa was established in 1848 and covers an area of 573 square miles with a population of roughly 21 thousand people. Decorah is the county seat which has various attractions such as museums, parks and recreational resources. Agriculture has always been the primary source of income but other industries such as tourism, manufacturing and finance have developed here as well.
