Pushmataha County is situated in southeastern Oklahoma and was created as part of its statehood on 1st November 1907. Its county seat is located in Antlers with notable towns such as Clayton, Tuskahoma, Finley and Rattan also found within its 3200km² (1232 sq mi) expanse. As of 2019 an estimated 11 060 people call Pushmataha home according to statistics from the United States Census Bureau estimates; making it rank as one of the least densely populated counties found operating within Oklahoma's boundary lines.
