Susquehanna County is located in northeastern Pennsylvania near the border with New York State. Its population is estimated to be 43,356 people with a land area of 845 square miles making it the second largest county by area in Pennsylvania following Berks County. Samples Manor is the largest borough while other cities include Hallstead Borough, Montrose Borough and New Milford Township. Farming plays a large role in this rural community as well as tourism to attractions like Starrucca Viaduct Park or Lake Wallenpaupack's numerous beaches and campgrounds.
