Parmer County, TX is located on the High Plains region at the northernmost part of Texas with an estimated population as of 2019 standing at 10,033 people. It's county seat is Farwell which gives us a countryside feel that much more enjoyable to everyone living here or visiting for business or pleasure alike. Other towns in this area include Bovina, Friona, Lazbuddie & Melrose amongst others with Friona being its most populous city (aside from Farwell). Parmer County was formed from parts of Bailey & Castro Counties back in 1876 and posthumously named after Martin Parmer – ex-signer for Texas Declaration Of Independence just before it became part of US union in 1845.
