| Watch out for Home Insurance in Florida - 4/29/2006
I live in Clearwater at Countryside and it is a beautiful area. My home insurance jumped 400% this year. The Florida legislature has already approve another 45% increase coming this year (2006) and Citizen's Insurance (the State Insurance Company)has gone back and ask for another 16%, which they will no doubt, get. If you are moving to Florida, be sure you check your home owner's rates before you buy, then add at least 55% to the current rate and you will be somewhere in the ballpark.

| Moving from Florida - 4/19/2006
We are moving from Florida. Housing,water,electricity,garbage,phone,car and housing insurance, and food prices have increased so that a three member family has a hard time keeping up with everything. Forget having extra money to spend for Disney. We are planning on moving around Land Between the Lakes in Ky. Any info would be appreciated. Are there jobs and what is the area like?

| Climate is great for children to play outside all - 4/18/2006
The children are very active and participate in many sporting activities. We can go to the beach all year. Go to the Keys, Naples, Sanibel Island, DisneyWorld, any given weekend. Parks are plentiful and recreational activity is no problem. Rent a boat go snorkeling, fishing, scuba diving, etc.

| Brevard County - 4/16/2006
Lovely beach and river views, lots of neat wildlife. This area is populating RAPIDLY, so if you desire to live around a lot of people it is fine. Mild warm winters, incredibly hot summers. Cost of living is a little high, but I guess it depends on what it's being compared to.

FL has a lot of things to do and see but this hustle and bustle of life is crazy! Its way too fast and the population is only growing. We are looking for a smaller community that won't drive us insane!

| Central Florida Orlando Area - 2/23/2006
Orlando area is very sunny, green and pleasant. It is very hot in the summer/early fall. It has a flat terrain which can be boring. It tends to be transitory in nature and therefore it can be hard to make friends.

Unfortunately, where I live in south Florida the area just got too populated. Everyone's in a hurry, and we now have traffic problems in places in places we never did. The local governments' just let builders have a blank check and they just kept building.

| Education Not Top Notch; Job Rate poor - 2/22/2006
For years florida has struggled with its public school system. As a parent to be I have found that in this state the best possible eduction is either private or catholic schooling. Florida just doesn't offer incentives to make teachers want to stay here and the children are suffering. Add that to the large number of illegal aliens that don't speak english here that are taking our jobs and our children really are not getting the best this state has to offer.
