great place to live!!! - 8/17/2008

I moved to Cottage Grove from California a little over 2 years ago when I retired. I have never lived anywhere that was more wonderful. The people are great. The life style is great. I have not experienced any crime. Cottage Grove had the most wonderful 4th of July I have ever experienced. The activities in the park all day with the parade and a great fireworks display at night. It was the best 4th of July I have ever had. love the little Baptist church, too. And the Mill store is a great place to eat a quick bite without driving all the way to one of the larger towns. We are almost equally located from Paris, TN, Mayfield, KY, or Murray, KY. so it's easy to shop. In short, it's a great place to live.
