Green Valley Ranch - 10/11/2007

Far enough from the Strip not be be bothered but close enough to the Strip to see great concerts, shows, etc. Green Valley Ranch has great shopping, great restaurants and PLENTY of parks for kids and adults alike. The winters are amazing; once you get over the 115-120 days of July and August, everything else is easy. Plenty to see with places like Red Rock Canyon, etc.

Awesome City - 3/20/2007

My wife and I are both from Queens, NY.,We moved to Las Vegas about nine years ago, it took us a while to get used to the new culture out here but it did not take us long to adjust to it. We moved to Henderson two years ago and It was the best move we ever made, the malls, restaurants, and parks here is just awesome, clean and safe place to be for us and our two little sons. We are only 15 mins away from the Las Vegas strip. The cost of living is a little on a high side, but when you are in the contruction jobs here in Las Vegas with the unlimited amount of overtime work we do, the cost of living does not bother us all. In addition, the schools here in Henderson is very under rated, it does have one of the best elementary schools in Nevada. We are looking forward to spend many more years here.
