HOKES BLUFF, A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE - 5/16/2022
We have lived in Hokes Bluff since 1975 and it is a great place to live. The people are nice, the schools are great, very rarely is there a crime committed. We have a public swimming pool, as well as an old mill pond where people swim, there are plenty of sports activities for kids to participate in. City Hall has a basketball court, a softball and baseball field, a newly renovated playground and picnic area, and a fire station.
We have a grocery store in the shopping center and another a few miles away. When we moved out here, I found out that I saved a lot of money because I didn’t think I needed to go to WalMart or the mall every few nights! In my opinion, for 4000 people, Hokes Bluff is the perfect size.
The people here are always willing to help if they find out that you have a need. The churches are great, at least two of them have food pantries and if a family is in need, they provide for them. My husband had a lengthy stay in the hospital and when we
