Don’t move here - 2/9/2019
I’ve lived her for 5 months and hate it. People here are nice, but give off the feeling of being fake nice and two faced. (Don’t get me wrong I’ve met some genuinely nice people, I’m just saying the majority) very small town gossip, especially if you’re an outsider. Speaking of which, expect the police to get to know you for things like letting your dogs outside to go potty in the winter, not having a front license plate on your car (pre switching registration, we moved from a state where this is legal), or even not switching your registration within 45 days (according to the dot you have 90 but whatever). Those are just a few reasons we’ve had police here. As far as raising a family, the kids here are mean. As in my kid got punched in the face on the bus 2 days in a row and the school couldn’t eve take the time to call me back. Not to mention there is NOTHING to do with kids here other than parks, which aren’t useful at -60°I have heard from a few locals that it’s common for new
