Growing 4 stars - 10/13/2020
The town is growing a bit which is great, it needs a few more restaurants.
Besides Hurricane, WV I think it is the only bedroom community that is anchoring a quiet suburbia with ready access to most amenities.
I can see a developer coming in soon and dropping a few hundred homes.
Milton police do a great job also.

Low crime rate in Milton Wv - 8/13/2008
My family has lived in Milton or near Milton all of our lives. And I have never known of their being a high rate of crime. But I do know of facts that have just been ignored. Like there is drug problems in Milton Wv but there is not any high investigation. My niece herself become addicted to herion that was sold to her in Milton WV. There is also a high rate of teen sex and pregnancies in Milton. There was also a time not very long ago that a man was beaten so severly that he was permantly disabled but no leads have come from that either. So yes Milton seems to be an o.k place to live but don't think for one moment that it is a crime free paradise because you would be very mistakened. It's not crime free,the crime just has not been reported have of the time. Something happens in Milton usually just goes in the unsolved cases.
