Waubeka, Wisconsin is a small village located in Ozaukee County. It is known for its historical significance and quaint charm. The village was first settled in 1839 and was originally called “Kleindeutschland” or “Little Germany” by the early German settlers. Today Waubeka is home to just over 700 people who enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and strong sense of community the area provides.
The village of Waubeka has been getting rave reviews from visitors as of late. Many come to learn about the town's unique history and visit one of few historic sites in the United States that commemorates Flag Day. Visitors also enjoy some of the local attractions such as Lake Michigan, local parks, excellent restaurants and shops, a nine-hole golf course, outdoor recreation options, and a farmers market on Saturdays during summer months. While in Waubeka, guests can also take advantage of many great hiking trails that offer stunning views of Lake Michigan.
