Jasper has went downhill - 2/24/2017
I had to edit my review. 11 years ago when I first moved to NW Alabama, Jasper was a great town to shop and eat.

Not anymore. A large part of Jasper has now some serious urban blight, litter, meth and crime. For some reason chain restaurants that come here have mediocre food and service.

You would shop at a store and you'd see the same employees all the time. Young, old, black, white, etc...All had the southern charm AL has a reputation for. Not anymore.

There isn't enough recreation or resources for the Disabled in my community. We have little to no shopping in Jasper. I currently do most of my shopping online, in Birmingham, Cullman and Decatur. Read More
