Moved in 2 years ago and really dislike it. If you live close to the bay - forget about having a swimming pool - it is somewhat cold all year round, especially at night. Not a place to relax, residents are playing music loud in their backyards, and cars with open windows... you can hear roosters and loudly barking dogs at random times, with zero consideration about other people. Newark is the best place I've ever lived - 3/2/2007
Newark is a small community. I live very close to the Dumbarton Bridge which connects between Newark and Menlo Park. Menlo Park is so nice. A little bit farther is Palo Alto.
For commuters who work in Palo Alto or Menlo Park, the drive is fairly easy.
On the weekends, there is not much traffic. And if you need parking, it would be fairly easy.
In my neighborhood, we have a bird preserve so it is typical to see hawks, crows, sparrows and cranes.
