Kind of a dump... - 4/25/2021
I lived in Northglenn for 13 years before moving to AZ in 2020. What can I say? The place suffers from what most of America is suffering from. Increasing housing prices, increasing cost of living, horrible traffic and overpopulation from people breeding irresponsibly. What sets Northglenn aside is the crime. I had my house broken into in 2016 as well as experienced multiple thefts. Things have only gotten worse since. If you look on the internet you'll find that home burglaries and robberies are rampant. Drug use and street bums are also major issues. On the plus side, there are bike paths and there's easy access to grocery shopping, bars and businesses. If you buy a house here, you better invest in good security cameras, an alarm system, storm/security doors, good and properly installed door locks, windows and warning signs for the front and back of your home. Northglenn - quiet suburbia - 1/21/2013
Northglenn is about 20 miles north of Denver. This small town has a quality of life that feels like time slows down. There is not a big hurry and always time for a hello, how are you and have a good day.

Great area! - 4/11/2009
Northglenn is easily one of the best places I've ever lived. The cost of living is relatively low, with pretty good job opportunities in the area. Recreation and culture is a huge aspect of this town, with many community activities, beautiful parks, and recreation centers in the area. Schools here are a part of the Adams 12 Five Star district, being probably one of the best in the state, also having many options and alternatives. The crime rate is lower than most (if not all) other areas in and around Denver, which seems to have and average rate for a metropolitan area. Public transportation is very accessible, though a little on the pricier side if none of the discounts apply to you (student, disabled, senior, etc.). Overall, I think Northglenn is a great place to live, work, and play if you're wanting to live in Read More

Great access to mountains, real CO natives, older - 1/11/2008
Head out 128th and be at 8000ft. trailhead in less than an hour. Hundreds of miles of mountain trails close by. Great if you love to hike or mountain bike. Skiing one hour away. People are mostly native coloradians and very friendly (unlike southern denver - all californians). Houses are small and older. Six months of the year are below freezing in the morning and can snow. The other six months are fantastic. Read More
