It is a peaceful town, friendly people, lots of green (it has many parks), close to University of Quinipiac. We leave a block away from down town so we can not complain about confort when it comes to finding near by restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, coffie shops, etc.. We have been living in Hamden for two years and it will sad to leave it, but my job requires to relocate in Taunton, Ma. no later than first month of next year so it is a must.
