Intercession City - 9/15/2007
Having resided in this city for more years than I care to acknowledge I feel that I can honestly call it nothing more than a human wasteland. The town is overrun with transients, drug addicts, sex offenders, prostitutes, etc. Many of the people that live there have no ambition and have just 'settled' for this as an acceptable way of life. Most of the kids are dropouts and aspire to be drug dealers. While living for nearly six years my children and I witnessed many suicides, cases of overdosing by the youth, youths being sent into juvenile hall, school dropouts, teenage pregnancies, daily drug dealings, runaways, run-ins with the law, sex offenses, etc. Sadly, this was the norm and appears to still be the case. There are probably more churches in the city than people that actually attend them. I recall my child being asked to leave the church and not return because he wanted to sit in the back of the church away from everyone. How sad when a child seeks God only to be sent away for
