Dunwoody, GA is known for its small-town charm and vibrant community. It is a great place to live or to visit, offering residents and visitors alike an array of activities and attractions. Some of the popular places to check out are Dunwoody Nature Center, Brook Run Park, Peachtree Charter Middle School, and more. Residents also have access to annual events at North Point Mall including outdoor movie screenings in the summer months as well as an ice rink in the winter. With so much to offer, it's not surprising that many people have glowing reviews about Dunwoody. From its excellent schools to its abundance of parks and family-friendly activities, Dunwoody has something for everyone. The city is also home to a number of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues which provide visitors with plenty of options when it comes to having fun or picking up some souvenirs. All in all, Dunwoody is a great place for anyone looking for a safe and friendly community with plenty of things to see and do.

Don't move here - 6/4/2023
I have lived here for 25 years and it really used to be a great city to live in. Unfortunately we became a city and now have our own city government which seemed to be good at first, but now they are raising taxes every year where our taxes are MORE than Fulton county, and spending money faster than the federal government. They are suppose to work for the community, however they do not listen to concerns of the citizens because have attended meetings where 100's of people were there and spoke out against some of their spending plans, and they don't care. They do what ever they want regardless of the input of the citizens. We are moving soon after loving living here for 25 years. Atlanta - Not the worst, not the best - 7/7/2015
I've lived in Atlanta and/or the Atlanta area for over 20 years. I know there are worse places than Atlanta but I also know there are better places. I am an environmentalist who feels most at home in a coastal city (I grew up in the Boston area). I find Atlanta to be (mostly) anti-intellectual, conservative and close-minded and stuck with the legacy of racial conflict. Things may eventually get better here but not on a timeline that matters to me and my family. I don't want to condemn my kids to driving half of their lives. If you are conservative leaning, came from someplace less interesting than Atlanta, and aren't into water or the environment you will be fine.  Read More
