The Good: Access to public beach. Good people. Good Fishing. Great for commuting to the City with commuter train. Cape Cod is near-by. Mall in-town.

The Bad: Less and less public areas all the time. Very high housing and rental cost and high town taxes. Illegal immigration (more of a problem in near-by Plymouth). High cost of living. Part of Tax-achusetts. Can you believe Kingston town hall wants you to pay them $90 in permit fees to install a dishwasher ($45 plumbing, $45 electric). New development.

All in all this isn't a terrible place to live but it has changed enough that it's not the place I remember it to Read More
