Living in the city with a country feel - 9/22/2021
I'm going to make my review very short I know it's going to sound a little long but I just love Brooklyn Park and I have to express my feelings about it. I grew up in Brooklyn Center in the 80s. I'm 55 years old I have two adult children they were raised in North Minneapolis and South Minneapolis in their teen years. My husband now we got married a few years after meeting we decided we wanted to buy a home. I looked in different settings our spot that we really wanted was the Richfield area, because we were in love with the area and we lived there for quite a few years. Homes were too expensive so when I got a realtor she suggested Brooklyn Park because the homes and Townhomes were at a cheaper value we looked at quite a few homes in Brooklyn Park, a couple in Maple Grove but we did find one townhome off of 101st and West River Road which seemed to be a totally different city. Maple Grove - Great place to raise a family. - 9/4/2012
Maple Grove is a great place to live and raise a family. We have been here since 2002 and have really enjoyed living here. Crime is low, schools are relatively good, we are close enough to downtown Minneapolis if you want all a larger city has to offer like the Twins, Vikings, and Timberwolves. Maple Grove is becoming a more diverse city than it was 10 years ago when I moved here. There are more people of color in my immediate neighborhood, which is great considering Minnesota is a primarily caucasian state!
