Worst town I've lived in, STAY CLEAR. - 9/16/2021
Where do I begin... First and foremost, everything here is expensive. The rent is high! and YOU pay for water and sewer costs, most residents live in old, substandard motel rooms with loud mouthed drug addicts, run by slumlords. This town pretends to be fancy when it has serious poverty issues. in short, the cost of living is difficult to say the least...the jobs here dont pay much and finding a apartment is very hard, due to so many waiting on lists THIS PLACE IS A SOCIAL/FINANCIAL TRAP. I dont recomend anyone, even considering to live here. dont expect any Read More

Expensive - 5/2/2021
It’s expensive living and everything is outdated from condos to apartments, and even housing. Traffic is also during tourist months. I don’t recommend living here. Read More

I guess it's Ok to visit, but not to live! - 2/1/2021
Branson is in a beautiful part of the extreme northern Ozarks- that's the good. Crime, even tho the local Govt tries to act like it doesn't exist, drugs, & Traffic are the bad. There are plenty of small towns outside of Branson that are just as beautuful if
not more beautiful than Branson in which to live- choose them.  Read More

Branson - stay away! - 1/4/2018
I live here in Branson and I can’t wait for my lease to expire. I’ve been cheated on show tickets and meals, government services here are worthless, and people drive like assholes. I bought a new car and got run into the first week that I owned it by some old man who thought he could just pull out into traffic without looking. I seriously think we need age limits on driving. The police here are great but as for the rest of the city - I’ll never spend another dollar in this city.  Read More

Makes no sense...the air quality used to be 100 as is the water quality...Branson is a town of 11k excluding all the tourists and the air quality has plummeted! It can't be because of all the motorists because I see much larger cities having better air quality than Branson...what Read More

Branson is great place to live - 1/15/2013
Branson is a great place to live for so many reasons. The people are warm and friendly. They now how to celebrate Christmas. From the adoration parade downtown and lighting the nativity scene on Mt. Branson, to Silver Dollar City and its great music, parades, and lights, they understand the true meaning of Christmas. Clean air and water. Beautiful mountains and lakes. World class bass fishing on Tablerock Lake, and world class trout fishing on Lake Taneycomo. 100 shows, attractions, great dining. All the big city ammenities with a small town feeling. Great hospitals. Cost of living is low and housing is reasonable, renting or buying. Climate is moderate. No mosquitoes,as the man made lakes water levels fluctuates, with no stagnant water, and rain water run off from the mountains, water does not sit still. We have lived here two years now and love it. Read More
