What BestPlaces Users Say about Florissant

Florissant, Missouri is a suburb located just outside of St. Louis. It has a population of around 52,000 and is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and affordable housing options. While some may consider it a quiet and safe place to live, others have had different experiences. Based on multiple user reviews, it seems that Florissant has its pros and cons when it comes to living there.

According to John from BestPlaces.net, Florissant has a "strong sense of community" and "plenty of parks and recreational activities for families." However, he also mentions that the job market is limited and there is not much to do for young adults. Similarly, Michelle states that it is a "nice place to raise a family" but also notes that "there isn't much diversity" in the area. On the other hand, Rebecca shares that there is "a lot of local pride" in Florissant and the "cost of living is very reasonable." However, she also mentions that there are "areas with higher crime rates." Finally, Emily mentions that the schools in Florissant are "above average" but also notes that there is a "lack of diversity and cultural events." Despite these mixed reviews, it seems that Florissant offers a close-knit community and affordability, but may not be the most diverse or exciting place to live.
