Don't do it... - 4/15/2020
I lived there for 3 years and it was the worst move I have ever made. The lake is beautiful but there is one cafe/restaurant. The closest market is 11 miles south but it is very small and not well stocked. The larger market is 18 miles north. There is no movie theater, comedy, night life, live theater and so on. Even the library is open part time. Downtown Wolfeboro is about 20 minutes south and you can go for a beer and pizza and there are a couple of shops open in the summer. I would never live in such a dead area again. Awful. I ran once the house sold.
