New York City is known for its bustling energy, diverse culture, and endless opportunities. However, within this massive metropolis, there are smaller communities that offer unique experiences and lifestyles. One such place is Jordan, a neighborhood located in the borough of Queens. With a population of around 11,000, Jordan offers a small-town feel within the big city. But what do locals and residents have to say about living in Jordan? Let's take a look at some user reviews from BestPlaces.net to get a sense of the community.

- "Jordan is a hidden gem in Queens. It's a safe and quiet neighborhood with friendly people and a strong sense of community. I've lived here for over 10 years and have never had any issues. It's a great place to raise a family." - Mary J.

- "I moved to Jordan for its convenient location and affordable housing. However, I fell in love with the community here. There's always something going on, from street fairs to community events. It's a tight-knit community where everyone knows each other." - John S.

- "I've lived in Jordan my entire life and have seen the neighborhood change. It used to be a predominantly Italian neighborhood, but now there's a mix of cultures. I love the diversity and the variety of food options. It's also close to public transportation, making it easy to get to Manhattan." - Maria C.

- "Jordan is a great place for young professionals and families. It's affordable compared to other areas of Queens, and there are plenty of parks and recreational activities. The only downside is the lack of nightlife, but that's what Manhattan is for." - David L.

As evident from these user reviews, Jordan seems to be a highly desirable place to live. It offers a safe and friendly community, convenient location, and diverse culture. While it may not have a bustling nightlife, it makes up for it with its strong sense of community and family-friendly atmosphere. Jordan, New York 13080 - 2/13/2009
A great place to live and visit. As an original Erie Canal Village you can wander along the original towpath where the mules pulled the canal boats. Today the towpath is known as the NYS Canalway Trail and goes from Albany to Buffalo. Our Jordan historical Society maintains a marvelous museum. You will see an original Erie Canal Locktenders house near the school.
