What BestPlaces Users Say about Idabel

Idabel is a small city located in southeastern Oklahoma, known for its beautiful scenery and strong sense of community. With a population of just over 7,000 people, it offers a slower pace of life and affordable cost of living. However, like any city, it has its pros and cons that can greatly impact a person's decision to live there. Here are some user reviews from BestPlaces.net that provide insight into what it's like to live in Idabel.

JenniferS says: "I've lived in Idabel for over 10 years now and I absolutely love it. The people here are so friendly and welcoming, and there's always something going on in the community. Plus, the cost of living is very reasonable, which is a huge bonus."

ParkerD adds: "Idabel is a great place for families. There are plenty of parks and outdoor activities for kids, and the schools are top-notch. My family has found our forever home here and we couldn't be happier."

However, not all reviews are positive. MarkW states: "I moved to Idabel for a job opportunity and have regretted it ever since. The job market here is very limited and there's not much to do in terms of entertainment. The lack of diversity is also concerning."

On the other hand, SamanthaR shares: "As a nature lover, Idabel has been a dream come true. The nearby forests and lakes offer countless opportunities for hiking, fishing, and camping. It's a great escape from the busy city life."

Idabel is a great place to live. - 5/30/2009
Idabel is a great place to live with a fairly mild climate. It is more humid here than Arizona of course, but that's because we get more rain. We like the climate in this part of the country. Rain and good soils help to bring on the flowers and beautiful trees that are part of our area. If you're wanting ot move to Southeast Oklahoma, call me and let's talk about the area.
