What BestPlaces Users Say about Pendleton

Pendleton, Oregon is a small city located in Umatilla County with a population of about 16,800 people. It is known for its rich history and annual Pendleton Round-Up Rodeo. With its picturesque landscape and friendly community, many people have chosen to call Pendleton their home. However, living in this particular place may have its pros and cons, as seen through the various user reviews on BestPlaces.net.

According to user "John", Pendleton offers a tight-knit community and a peaceful environment, making it an ideal place to raise a family. He says, "Pendleton is a great place to live with a lot of good-hearted people. It's perfect for those who want a small town feel and a slower pace of life." On the other hand, user "Samantha" expresses her disappointment with the lack of job opportunities in the area. She states, "There are very limited job options here, and it's not easy to find work. I had to commute to a nearby city just to have a decent paying job."

Another user, "Michael", praises the city's beautiful scenery and outdoor activities. He says, "Pendleton is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. There are plenty of hiking, fishing, and hunting opportunities here, which is perfect for nature lovers." However, user "Emily" voices her concerns about the high cost of living. She states, "Living in Pendleton has become increasingly expensive in recent years. Housing prices are on the rise, and the cost of groceries and utilities are also higher compared to other places I've lived in."

Overall, the reviews about living in Pendleton seem to be mostly positive, with mentions of its friendly community and peaceful atmosphere. However, it may not be the best place for those seeking job opportunities and affordable living. It's important to consider these factors before making the decision to move to Pendleton.
