Hometowners make out fines; too few drug arrests - 11/16/2013
Typical small town politics and culture that favors locals and treats anyone not "from" here as an outsider. Also a strange mix of lazy, old money from timber and oil mixed with a relatively recent influx of white trash welfare "scummers" that feed the local slumlords. Most honest locals I've discussed Bradford with claim it was a nice place to live 20 years ago, raise your kids, know your neighbors, walk to school, etc. None of that happens now. Nearly all blame the prison down the road as well as the ridiculous ease with which one can claim government benefits in the county. Plenty of Buffalo drug traffic, particularly on the weekends. Locals also willingly ignore all traffic laws with complete confidence that law enforcement is of no threat.
