It's something to consider if you're looking to move here."

Despite the challenges, many residents still recommend Delmont as a great place to call home. The schools are excellent, and there are plenty of community events and activities for all ages. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else." Overall, it seems that Delmont's strong sense of community and small-town charm outweigh any potential drawbacks for its residents.

I have lived in Delmont most of my life. It is a wonderful little town to raise a family. You are close to major highways with a small town feeling. The schools are very good. The only downfall is not enough resturants ( fast food or other).
Some of the small town stand out's are the Apple Festival and Christmas a Salem Crossroads. The is a small Theater called Apple Hill playhouse to see local shows and movie theater with-in 5 minutes. You can be in downtown Pittsburgh in 1/2 hour.
