downtown and the stately old homes all around. It reminded me of a quaint, English village! When you come into Doylestown, you quickly realize this is no run-of-the-mill Pennsylvania town! If there was one major drawback to this
remarkable city, its the extremely high cost of living! That was the primary reason I had to leave. I had a ordinary, 2 bedroom townhome that I rented which was $1265 a month plus utilities! By far, more than I ever have spent on housing anywhere including New York! Doylestown is obviously tailored to upper income people. If you have plenty of money, then you will be very happy to live there. There is a regional SEPTA train station there and you are less than an hour from Philadelphia.
