What BestPlaces Users Say about Treasure Lake

Treasure Lake is a private, gated community located in Pennsylvania. It is home to approximately 4,000 residents and offers various amenities such as golf courses, swimming pools, and a marina.

Treasure Lake is a highly coveted place to live, and many people are curious about what it's like to reside there. After researching multiple user reviews on BestPlaces.net, a common theme emerges: residents of Treasure Lake love the sense of community and the peaceful, nature-filled surroundings. One user, named Sarah, raves about the neighborhood saying, "Treasure Lake truly lives up to its name. The lake and surrounding forest provide endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, and the friendly neighbors make it feel like a tight-knit community." Another resident, named Mike, also praises the community aspect, stating, "There are always events and activities going on in Treasure Lake. It's the perfect place to make new friends and get involved in the community." However, not all reviews are glowing. A user named Rebecca mentions, "While I appreciate the natural beauty of Treasure Lake, the lack of diversity and limited job opportunities can make it feel isolated at times." Similarly, John, who has lived in Treasure Lake for 10 years, adds, "The cost of living is high, and the property taxes keep increasing. It's something to consider before deciding to move here." Overall, the majority of user reviews on BestPlaces.net paint a positive picture of life in Treasure Lake while also acknowledging the drawbacks of living in a secluded, private community.

A hidden gem! - 10/28/2019
I moved to Treasure Lake 1.5 years ago and love it here. The air is clean, the water is clean, and the surroundings are gorgeous. The people here are friendly, generally well educated, and pleasant to be around. I don't like the heat and haven't needed AC for the 2 summers I've been here. It's also not too humid. Winters can be snowy but nothing crazy so far. With 2200 homes set on 9,000 acres of PA Wilds and 3 lakes, what's not to like? Read More
