Wonderful Town Close To Dallas - 2/23/2011
I have lived in Seagoville for 7 years now. I was looking for my first home but away from the hussle & bussle of Dallas. I didn't have alot of money so I bought an older home in an older neighborhood. I worked day & night painting, flooring & plumbing work all the while the neighbors sat in their yard watching me work talking amongst themselves like who is this person? LOL
They eventually made there way over to check on the progress introducing themselves...Thanking me for buying this house & improving the neighborhood because this house had sat empty for years. I now know everyone on the block..we borrow tools from each other..keep an eye on each others kids while they ride bikes up & down the street. This is a place where you can leave your mower out in the front yard & if is gone in the morning it is because your neighbor is changing the oil for you..lol Great place for a starter home or a family Read More

Small town plenty of room close to Dallas. - 3/28/2010
I dont live here now but grew up in this area this is a great place to live. Even though its a relatively a small community within 20 miles of downtown Dallas off of US175 there is stuff to do here during the daytime with some shopping available in Seagoville. There is a lot more to do just up the road in Mesquite and Dallas though. But this is a affordable and genuinely great and safe community and US175 has few traffic problems and its a quick commute to Downtown Dallas and even to North Dallas which we all can use here in the DFW area. This area has plenty of room to grow as well so hopefully it will include carefull planning with its growth in the future and remain a nice quiet rural oasis near Dallas. There will continue to be newer housing options here in all forms well into the future so this community has great potential.  Read More
