Never underestimate the power of stupid people in a large group. If you like rude families and dropouts, this is your town! Trash is everywhere. Oil field workers and perverts run the town. If you express concern you may be their next victim. It's also a haven for illegal drugs that fuel the transient work and non-work force. Vance Air Force Base is nearby and not a single pilot wishes to return once their training is complete. It's sad because there is nothing else for hours in any direction. No lake. No river. No mountain. No hill. No public airport. You are taxed heavily for water for it must be pumped in. Its very windy most of the time and cuts through you in the winter as well as burns you in the summer. Dust and dirt are in everything. No recycling program to be proud of. Locals litter like there's a prize for doing so. If you are coming here by choice... why?

I came from south Florida, I think Enid is a essay going City, small but is growing. People are nice and drive careful. Not too crazy. I wish is more to do and more stores where Yo pick from. The city need a better garbage program for trees pick up and others. I did not have a problem finding a job and don’t see the drug problems that others post mentioned. The peopling know are all college graduates with a stable profession. So I don’t get the negative information of others post here.
