The Lawton Fort Sill community is a very unique place to call home. No where else have I been apart of a community where an attitude of pride and unity define the people. We are friendly, supportive, and resilient. The leadership throughout the city and surrounding towns has a vision for growth, change, and innovation, and those ideals are being implemented each day. The cost of living is excellent compared to other cities across the US; Cameron University and Great Plains Technology Center offer advanced degree programs for students and adults; we have state of the art medicial facilities and a plethera of outdoor activities to engage in, depending on your preference. The list of positive things regarding our community goes on and on- people who think differently might not have engaged or sought out the wonderful attributes our city has to offer. We really are a hidden gem in the Wichita Mountains. You should see for yourself!
