I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana it's not the same since hurricane Katrina, the state isn't helping like it use to everybody feel like they're not getting ahead in life, it is very slow with receiving help for anything. People that work here act like they are giving you something out of their pocket, education sucks here most kids here are not on there grade levels, the service and food in restaurants are not the same, blacks are killing each other everyday. Please don't move here all they care about here are the tourists, not the people who make this city what it is.

Judging by your writing, I would have to agree that the education there is terrible. Perhaps if well-educated transplants continue to move there, things might improve.

and the word on the street is that the whole tourist area is just a way to funnel money into the mob's hands. It is not going back into the city. The poor, mostly black, are not provided a decent public education, and thus resort to a life of crime. It is a grotesuque city, run by the mob, which runs the church.
