Review of Surprise, Arizona

Surprise, AZ
Star Rating - 1/12/2013
I've been living in Surprise for 2 years now and I like it, not love it. There are many pluses to living here such as the cost of living, it's very cheap (groceries, gas, colleges, houses). It's always sunny which I also use it as a downfall. My first summer here we reached a record high temperature of 125 degrees. That was awful. Last summer it was 117 degrees, which in comparison, was much better. I miss the rain. It rarely rains here but I guess it's what you get in the desert, arid climate. There's a cute little park near by with a pond that my daughter loves to go to. I consider this area safe and family oriented. If moving to this area of the West Valley, consider Marley Park or Rancho Gabriela.
