Leave that race behind; there's no winning in rush hour anxiety.
Leave on a jet plane, arrive to solitude.
Five exits off the *mother road* interstate highway 40 where travel from the northeast to the west coast included picnics, camping, and dream making. The region's trauma hospital, with flight-for-life, several professionals in their clinics more than adequately serve pulmonary, cardiology, gastro, arthritis patients. ACE, Tractor Supply, local farm supply, Best - service the dignified farmers, ranchers, DIYers, honey-dos.
Grocery shopping at Lowe's is conveniently stocked, complete with fresh produce by carts on carpet!
Family Dollar & Dollar General compete for value conscious.
Chiropractors, massage therapy, pet grooming, barbers, stylists, nails & tats, and soon the dispensary.
Horizons fill up your senses with buttes, canyons, railroads, sunrises, sunsets, birds of the prairie, and the fresh, unadulterated air!
Regional dishes of recipes poo pooed on the Food net, side by side with all the major chains tease your palette.
Museums of vintage automobile and native culture, plus the Dinosaurs teach and exhibit all the things interesting.
Traffic is mostly about semis, trucking your and my goods diligently from centers from Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma and New Mexico to far and wide out on the highway.
Tourist attractions the Train Depot, the Odeon, the Sombrero, the wigwam, the rustic motels and pull-ins. The "Cone" and "Luigi's Ferrari Tire" and the Hudson Hornet aren't to be seen, but only in your imagination.
Concha Dam, lake, Fort Sumner, Las Vegas (NM & NV), Amarillo, Santa Rosa, Albuquerque and Santa Fe are Sun soaked day drives.
