Review of Cincinnati, Ohio

I love it here!
Star Rating - 3/13/2006
I am a east coast girl and moved here from Philly and absolutely love Cincinnati. I live in downtown and find this city very pedestrian friendly. I wish there was a downtown grocery store but there are many convenience stores around the city. There are two Walgreens and three CVS downtown plus many mom and pop shops. The downtown is a mess to some regard right now because the center of the city called Fountain Square is being redeveloped but I hear it is suppose to be nice when done this summer. The art scene here was surprising. When I thought of Cincinnati I didn't think of art but wow. The Art Museum, Taft Museum of Art and the wonderful Contemporary Art center swept me off my feet when I moved here. My boyfriend loves sports so it is nice to walk to the Reds or Bengals stadiums. There is a great nightlife scene in the neighborhoods called Over-the-Rhine and Mt. Adams although I prefer a neighborhood called Northside. It has a wonderful feeling like I am back home in Philly. All in all things have been going great and I recommend the Cincinnati downtown experience.

I am a west coast man (California) and I am planning to move to Cincinnati in 2009. It sounds like a good place as I like museums and outdoor activities. Can you suggest some nice places to live? I am thinking about the Hyde Park area.
