I've been a resident since 1984. I love the Incorporated Village of Malverne (other than the Village taxes!). We have our own Police Department, so it's been rated one of the safest communities on Long Island for decades. The town is quaint and shuts it's Main Street for an annual "Lighting of Malverne" during the holidays, which promotes a real community feeling. Safe and clean. Close to LIRR.
