I would hardly consider Albany "very crowded"- it depends upon the neighborhood. Southwest Albany is fine and very quiet and very low crime...You get what you pay for they say...I find Oregon drivers almost 90% good to excellent for example, by contras, California Bay Area drivers are about 50 to 60% rude. It all depends upon your prior experience. Going any place in the Bay Area on a weekend means long waits for traffic typically...here it is almost nothing as to crowded highways.
