Review of Bend, Oregon

over crowded lack of health care
Star Rating - 4/29/2018
If you need a doctor and you have insurance it's hard to find one. It's unbelievable. I am from SF. I lived in LA for 7 years and loved it. Living here is very Vanilla. It's a little sad that there is no culture. There is no shopping either and no restaurants. Like none. If I had a few dollars I would open a restaurant/lounge, classy tappas style and I would open a hospital. There is only one and it's a monopoly. There aren't specialist here either, so that is kind of scary. I am here only temporary can't find a job in any area that pays more than 11 an hour. I made 20 an hour when I was 20 years old 20 years ago!!!!

10 dollars an hr's not bad. You just need to work more hours. Try 80 hours per week, than you'll be back to making what you did when you were at 20 per hr/ 20 years ago. Live out of your car. Spend all you got on ski tickets and hiking boots. When you run out of dough, find a large piece of cardboard and write something on it that will get people to feel sorry for you.

Your health care experience is spot on, as is your assessment of wages. I work for one of the highest-paying employers in town, but, despite that, none of our recent employees can buy a home, despite having engineering degrees and making more than 60K. The rent graphic listed here is way off. A one bedroom (if you can find one) will cost you more than $1,200 a month. As a result, we are losing a lot of people to other companies elsewhere.
