Review of Royersford, Pennsylvania

Can or can't one return home - again?
Star Rating - 7/2/2007
Royersford was my native town, I grew up there. I was there when the population was less than 4,000, and when the businesses would close at 6 to 8 pm every night; I was a part of the community when the entire school system (Spring-Ford) had fewer students then the ninth grade now has. Wow!
I was both stunned and amazed at the groth which has happened since I relocated to Ohio. There has been both change and consistency in Royersford. Unlike many towns which have experienced rapid growth, Royersford's character seems to have remined stable over the years, mainly because of family values, an intimate and friendly atmosphere, and neighborhoods that have a solid community founding.
Although I chose to move to a smaller and more intimate community (Richwood, Ohio) then Royersford is, I miss my old hometown, and I always look forward to visiting when I have the opportunity.
Respectfully; Rev. P. E. Slonaker, Th.D., D.D.
