Infringement upon property owners

The city council in this town need to get a grip on reality and understand that they work for the people who pay their taxes. The city ordinance that prevents property owners from placing signs in their yards is ridiculous. Individuals who want to place signs essentially stating "God Bless the USA" should not be prevented from doing so. Preventing property owners from placing such signs is a blatant disregard for the rights of property owners in the United States of America. We live in a free country not a communist state. As a property and homeowner I will not consider purchasing property nor visiting Bartow Florida. I strongly suggest a replacement of the oppressive mayor and city council.
