I have lived in Miller Place NY for 20 years and I can say it is a nice little town that has plenty of shopping a few good resturants and some of the prettiest waterfront .The one big draw back is the cost of living here. The local school district is out of control when it comes to raising our tax's. The average home in Miller Place pays between 7 to 10 thousand dollars with newer homes in the 10 to 20 thousand dollar range.This causes people who would like to stay and build a life to move once the kids finish school, thus creating a transient type of town devoid of that small town feel that could exsist,and make this a trully wonderful Read More
