has potential... I have lived in Ballston Spa for the last year. The Southside of town is very cute, beautiful homes and friendly people. We bought a house on the Northside. I'm not sure if it's the water or cheaper homes but people are entirely different on the Northside. They do not take much pride in the care of thier homes (ex. old appliances in their backyards)and throw cigarettes everywhere. It's a shame that some people make an effort and some folks could careless. Most people in the town are very nice. The downtown has great bones and a lot of potential. Retail shops have a hardtime but there are a few busy and wonderful restaurants.
