Muhlenberg-isn't today what it was 20 years ago.. Muhlenberg township WAS a gr8 place to live a bit ago, but many low income families from Reading moved here and that is reflected in all the discount stores in the area. Many stores closed because of this.. A mall was built on the fifth st highway in the 70's and it is currently a mostly dead mall. Best areas to live in muhlenberg are; Muhlenberg Park, West of route 61 but east of Laurel Run(Waterway). Riverview Park is also a great place to live here.
