Joy of Living in SLO!!??????????? If you can afford to retire here, then, yes, it's a great place to be! However, those who sing the praises of this county have no idea how they have destroyed the "small" town it once was. They also had to bring their big stores with them. they brought their housing inflation(as if it wasn't expensive enough already!!!) and they brought their arrogant we are HERE! now we want it to be what we want. So much for the great small town they supposedly were looking for.
