East Lansing East Lansing is a very pretty town. The town has had frequent problems with student rioters. Overall 60% of the town is composed of students. I would recommend East Lansing as a place to get a quality higher education but perhaps not as the place to raise a family. East Lansing offers a lot of cultural things to do and has many good rests. East Lansing has a low crime rate. Pick wisely the part of town in which you chose to live unless you enjoy listening to Michigan State students partying.
