why would any one want to come to merrillan wisco If your looking for someplace to go but have a tight budget Merrillan is a really nice place. We are located 2 hours south of the twin cities and 2 hours north of madison. We are also less than one hour from la crosse to the south, eau clarie to the north and marshfield to the east. In Merrillan we have Halls Creek going throu town with a beautiful water fall and the black river just to the west of us. The fishing is reall good here. We also have a nice quiet park soundered by forest land and good hicking trails. In the winter we are 3 miles from Bruce mound ski lodge. The town is sournded by atv trails. There are lots of places to pick wild or tame berries in the summer.
