Interesting Combination
There is an interesting combination of many different elements here. It is home to the Stephen F. Austin State University, so you would think having a relatively medium sized school here things would be different. Nacogdoches is in the middle of East Texas; some call it "Hick", Texas. There seems to be a strange mix of old generation and new generation. The older generation seems to be glued to the ancient "Texas Ways", but then there is the newer generation that are partiers.
The only interesting option about Nac. is that it claims to be the oldest town in Texas.
Well, after living here for a year, my advice is to take a picture from the side of the road and keep driving...
